104 Years of Baking
Over a century after he opened his bakery's doors for the first time, Mario Madonia's great-grandson Daniel Mario Calano-Moore and his business partner Charlie LaLima are keeping their Italian-American traditions alive in The Bronx. Still making classic Sicilian and European style loaves the old fashioned way, the guys are still putting out new products for our customers to try. Madonia Bakery has been a staple in the Belmont neighborhood of The Bronx since its founding, and the local stretch of Arthur Avenue has come to be known as "The Real Little Italy" in New York City.
