Welcome to the Well Renowned Madonia Bakery

We look forward to seeing you and sharing the

fruits of our labor with you and your family.

– Peter Madonia

My Grandfather, Mario Madonia, came to America from Sicily with a dream of opening a bakery. In 1918, with my grandmother Rose, and a lot of hard word, he fulfilled his American Dream, and the Madonia Bakery sign went up at 2348 Arthur Avenue. Little did Grandpa know that 95 years later, Madonia Bakery would still be going strong and a landmark business on Arthur Avenue..

We are now in our third generation, and still still making bread the way Grandpa made it back in 1918, by hand with all the same natural ingredients giving it that original old-world flavor.

And while we continue to produce a full line of old world Italian breads, we have also become known for our wide assortment of specialty breads. One of our signature specialty items is our Olive Bread. But we certainly don't stop there—other popular choices include our Jalapeno Bread , 7 Grain Bread, Provolene Bread, Ciabbatta Bread and Whole Grain Cranberry Walnut Bread, among others. All are made in the same tradition as our classic Italian loaves.

So whether you're craving a traditional Italian bread with a thick, crunchy crust on the outside and soft and airy inside—or new and exciting breads, along with a full line of cookies and biscotti and cannoli— come visit us at 2348 Arthur Avenue-directly across from the Municipal Parking Lot. Our Motto has been "Our family serving your family for 3 generations," and we take that charge seriously here at Madonia Bakery. Grandpa wouldn't have it any other way!
